Dr. Ajit Chaudhry
Dr. Ajit Chaudhry is the President/Owner of Barrie Dental Arts and completed his dentistry at the University of Western Ontario, where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery, in 1998. Dr. Chaudhry grew up in Kingston, Ontario and always envisioned delivering comprehensive modern dentistry in a small community setting. In pursuit of his practice goals, Dr. Chaudhry committed himself to additional graduate studies in disciplines of Surgery, Esthetics, Sedation, Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Over the years Dr. Chaudhry has attended many courses throughout North America and has successfully completed continuing education programs in advanced dentistry.

In Addition to his passion for dentistry, Dr. Chaudhry is a fitness and sports enthusiast and loves to play basketball and tennis. A devoted husband and loving father , to wife Jasmeet and twins Kiran and Jovin. Dr. Chaudhry looks forward to getting to know you and your family. Dr. Chaudhry is dedicated to fostering long-term relationships for a lifetime of dental health and beautiful smiles.
Dr. Hasnain Dharamshi was born and raised in Markham, Ontario and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. Dr. Dharamshi is very passionate about dentistry & works to provide the utmost comfort & care for his patients. He is also a very strong believer in continuing education & is always looking to provide the best possible treatment for his patients. In his spare time, Dr. Dharamshi enjoys spending time with his wife & kitten & is a big fan of the Toronto Raptors. Dr. Dharamshi is always accepting new patients & looks forward to helping you achieve & maintain a healthy smile.

Dr. Vafa Lightfoot
Dr. Vafa Lightfoot was born and raised here in Barrie and has been excited to be practicing back in his home town. He attended Eastview Secondary before completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph. Dr. Lightfoot travelled across the pond to Ireland for his dental training at the University College Cork. Since beginning his career Dr. Lightfoot has taken keen interest in dental restorations, aesthetics, surgery and periodontics. He has a passion for learning and improving on techniques as well as his patient-centred approach to treatment.
Outside of the office Dr. Lightfoot is an avid snowboarder in the winter, and has taken up golf in the summer months. If not on the hills or links he has a new found passion of camping and exploring the outdoors with his soon-to-be wife April. He is very much looking forward to travelling again when possible and exploring the many different cultures and landmarks across the world.
Dr. Pretto was born and raised in Georgetown, Ontario and obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree from the University of Toronto. Dr. Pretto’s passion is to provide the highest quality of care for his patients, while prioritizing a comfortable and relaxing experience. He achieves this by continuously expanding the scope of his knowledge and expertise through extensive continuing education. Before joining Barrie Dental Arts, he practiced in the remote region of Thunder Bay, Ontario where he gained expertise in various aspect of dentistry. When not in the dental office, Dr. Pretto can be found at the ice rink playing hockey or at the diamond playing baseball.

Dr. Margel is an endodontist, who attends our office once every two weeks to provide our patients with endodontic treatment.
